Meme of the week:

How I always felt in the beginning of the year:

The Big 3 of the Week

What I'm following

1/ LSU Fan Takes a Home Run Ball Straight to the Dome

Tommy White, known as one of the top power hitters in college baseball, hit a ball 100+ mph off the bat. A die hard LSU fan went to catch the ball and took it off the top of his head!

Someone interviewed him after the play, he's response:

2/ Max Scherzer weighs in on electronic strike zone

Pro human, Max Scherzer suggests an interesting proposal to have both the human umpire and electronic umpire live in the same MLB.

MLB is flirting with the idea of bringing in the electronic strike zone, but there are players, like Max, who have been vocal about keeping the decision of balls and strikes with the humans.

See his interview and read the full story below:

3/ Lights go out while pitcher throws his last warm-up pitch

The closer for the San Francisco Giants, Camilo Doval was finishing up his warm-up pitches when the booth turned off the lights for his entrance into the game. Cool entrance, but what happened to the bullpen catcher?!?

Tampa Bay Rays City Connects are Sick! Releasing them over the weekend, the Rays are challenging the other teams for the best City Connect Uni.

New York Mets release their city connects and they fall flat. There are mixed reviews. It seems like the smaller market teams are beating the bigger markets in uniform designs.

Let it hit you! In a youth baseball game a fan caught a player at second base yelling what everyone was thinking
