Newsletter Sponsor:  Win Reality

We are fired up to announce a partnership with WIN Reality to bring a new hitting development program to our players. WIN Reality is the only tool out there for our players to get unlimited game speed at bats.

We have a huge discount (50%) + ONE MONTH FREE! I highly encourage everyone to give the program a shot. If you already have a Quest headset, it’s a no-brainer to sign up for a month.

What's Win Reality? You can take unlimited at-bats before your game inside the virtual reality headset. I tested it myself and i'm convinced this is the most unfair advantage i've seen for hitters.

See what it looks like here.

Meme of the Week

We played a Team That Used PitchCom

The Big 3 of the Week

What I'm following

1/ Ryne Sandberg Called "Has been" by 13U Parent.

Would you call Ryne Sandberg "a has been"? At the 12:40 mark, the Hall of Famer recounts an interaction he had over the weekend with a hostile parent at a local competitive tournament. Mr. Sandberg was watching a team play and started realizing he didn't like what he was seeing. The actions by the players were great, but the coaches were becoming a problem, so much so, that he stepped onto the field and stopped game.

Watch his account of the situation and what his take is on youth sports. Are we heading in the right direction as a community? What things are we doing right and wrong for the future of this sport?

2/ Baseball Field Makes 8 Figures a Year!!

Rocker B Ranch an hour west of Fort Worth Texas is a 320 acre luxury ranch that you can take your team for the ultimate baseball getaway. With their fields, pool, lake, and multiple lodging options for different party sizes. No matter how your team does on the field your still gonna have a good time with the experience it provides.

Would you take your team here to play?

3/ How High is That Butt?

What did he just say?! The things Buck Showalter looks for in new draft prospects is a unusual. In an interview at the draft combine Showalter talks about the things he looked for in new players. Some of these included how high their butt is, their eye color, and if they have a beard.

I guess, now I know, my butt is what stopped me from making it to the big leagues.

What do you think of his tactics to pick new talent? What would you look into when deciding who to draft?

A Little Shake and Bake

Points:  I started something new this week. I'm adding up the points of previous Rundowns to have a grand total for the team. I think this is a great way to represent past winnings while showcasing this weeks championship runs.

Here's how it works: If you make the championship game you get points! 2 points for first place. 1 point for second place.
