GM Tigers,

This is my last Rundown for the month, but before we close out July, here's what you need to know:

August 1 is a big day in baseball and in Tiger Land. The trade deadline nears in the MLB: will the Angles deal Ohtani? Also, colleges can officially be in contact with the 2025 class. Sorry 2026's, you have to wait one more year. 2024's and 2025's communication lines are wide open.

Lastly, 17U and 16U National Teams head to Cincinnati to play in the highly anticipated Tournament of Champions event. This is one of the last big stops in the recruiting circuit before schools prepare for their team's arrival on campus.

Follow the Rawlings Tigers National Team on Twitter.

Coaches for the event: 16U Jake Scott , 17U DJ DeWees

Follow our National Teams Coordinator: Evan Pratte
