Meanwhile in the MLB: Brew Crew Rookies Make a Starbucks Run

What happened? It's common to see a youth or even a high school player in full uni, but for some reason when you see a grown adult walking about the streets of Chicago you can't help but stare. It's almost as if Big Foot decided to come out from hiding.

The coaching staff and veterans of the Milwuakee Brewers needed their Starbucks fix, so they had rookies: Garrett Mitchell, Gus Varland, Peter Strzelecki, and Brice Turang make the fateful journey into Wrigleyville in full uniform.

Why it's important? It's almost like a rite of passage in the bigs. The author remembers his first time being a freshman and a rookie. Once we flew to New York and the veterans had all the rookies dress up like James Bond characters. Catching the 5:30am in a James Bond outfit was a site to see. It had the flight attendant wondering if we came straight from the dance clubs. Ma'm, can I get my orange juice shaken not stirred.

That's all for this week's edition of the Tiger Rundown. Please check out the links below for some goodies.

See you next week.
