Hardest Throwing Female Pitcher?

What happened? Genevieve Beacom is an 18yr old left-handed pitcher from Australia. Recently, she has been training at Tread Athletics in Charlotte, North Carolina where she posted her fastball at 85.6mph

Why it's important? Earlier this year we saw the first D1 female baseball player take the field for Brown University. Olivia Pichardo entered the game as a pinch hitter and singled in her first at-bat. Could Genevieve Beacom be the first Division 1 female pitcher?

It's not out of the realm of possibilities as the left-hander posted a solid 85 mph fastball twice. If the reader is wondering, is that enough? Well, she has been battled tested in the Australian Professional League where she appeared for the Melbourne Aces. Check out
 her performance.

From the Tigers VIP

Do you have to specialize in a sport?

What happened? There wasn't a shortage of opinion when it comes to specializing in a sport. As promised, we bring Ben Brewster on the podcast to discuss his tweet that caused everyone to cry; "HOW DARE YOU!"

Why it's important? The prized three-sport athlete is becoming an extinct species. Is this end of the days, seeing a three-sport varsity athlete? Don't get sad; it could actually be a good thing for the player. The guys discuss. *Spoiler* All three opinions are different. What's yours?

Should You Specialize?

Just like an Easter egg hunt there's always that one egg you miss. Check out the hidden links below...who knows, it might be the egg with the two-dollar bill. Just kidding, don't email me about getting a two-dollar bill. lol

See you next week.
