St. Louis Challenger Baseball is a baseball league for youngsters and adults with developmental disabilities. Volunteers join the players on the field and assist in various ways. They may need to push a wheelchair on the base paths or help get a ball that gets past a fielder. The kids that play on these Saturdays really enjoy having buddies on the field and making new friends. The volunteers need to be between the ages of 10 and 20. Younger and older Tigers can provide the very valuable service of cheering and encouraging the players. More information about the program can be found at www.challengerbaseball.org.
