1. Tiger Batting Practice (BP) Routine

Round 1: Bunts

Speed players: more bunts for hits.

Others: 1 sacrifice bunt down each line.

Round 2: Middle-Away Round (5 swings)

Hit to center or opposite field, stay inside the ball.

Round 3: Hit and Run (5 swings)

Must swing to protect runner.

Ball on the ground to avoid double plays.
-
Aim to hit through right side (or opposite for lefties).

Round 4: Move Runner Over (5 swings)

Hit to right side to advance runner on 2nd to 3rd.

Round 5: Get Runner In (5 swings)
-
With runner on 3rd, less than 2 outs.

Hit line drives, deep fly balls, or hard grounders up the middle.

Bonus Round 6: Number Rounds

Extra swings with decreasing reps (5 → 4 → 3).

2. Key Coaching Points

Teach “staying inside the ball” → lead with hands, barrel follows.

Tee setup: seams upright; aim inner seam to middle.

Goal: hit middle to opposite field consistently.

Format: 4 stations (12 minutes each) + 1 final group station (10 minutes).
Stations:

Group A – Big Cage: Film swings + BP rounds.

Group B – Cage 4 Drill Work: Soft toss w/ color baseballs, start w/ eyes closed.

Group C – Cage 3 Power Development: Heavy balls, max swings, video shooting.

Group D – Cage 2 Velo Station: Middle/away tee swings, track scores.

Group E – Cage 1 Core Strength: Medicine ball frontal rotational toss (4 x 10).
5. Equipment / Setup Notes

Hack Attack machine, L-screens, tees, baseballs.

Colored balls for recognition drills.
